Born and raised in Rochester, NY, and having a desire for continuous growth lead me in many directions. I first left Rochester to join the Army Reserves but upon my return, I had a burning desire to enhance my passion for food and travel. That led me to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY which laid the foundation for whom I am today. With the completion of my degree from the CIA, I moved to Las Vegas, NV to carry on my hospitality career and completing my bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. From Vegas, I then went to Alaska where I met my wife, Brandi. For years we worked multiple seasonal positions throughout the world while always finding our way back to our small cabin in remote Alaska. With the addition of our son, Oliver, we decided to return to our family in Rochester.
It was in Rochester where my career in real estate began. The transition was a big change but I quickly found a new love. Both providing a higher level of service and my love for working with people have been my connection between Hospitality and being a Realtor. My years of experience in the hospitality industry gave me a strong work ethic, the sense for attention to detail, having the ability to multi-task, a desire to always provide top-notch customer service, and an ideology of professionalism. I found these to be my “ingredients” for success in my new found profession.
After some time establishing ourselves in Rochester, we were ready to move on to your next chapter of life in Knoxville. We were drawn to Knoxville by great people, beautiful landscape, superior weather, and existing family and friends. In my spare time I like to enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, cooking (and eating), traveling, learning new things, and watching football.
